Ain Shams University holds its annual iftar ceremony, attended by the Presidential Advisor for Health Affairs, the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Health, the Minister of Higher Education, and a select group of media leaders and public figures

As part of the celebration of the holy month of Ramadan, Ain Shams University organized its annual iftar ceremony in a festive atmosphere in front of the Zaffaran Palace on the university's main campus, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University.

The ceremony was attended by a number of prominent figures and leaders, including: Prof. Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health and Prevention Affairs; Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health; Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Prof. Mustafa Refaat, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities; Prof. Abdel Wahab Ezzat, Secretary of the Private Universities Council; and a number of university presidents.

         
   
         

The event was also attended by Dr. Hesham Steit, Chairman of the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement, Medical Supply and Technology Management, Mr. Ahmed Al-Maslamani, Chairman of the National Media Authority, Anba Ermia, Chairman of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Council, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Amani Osama, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Hossam El-Mallah, Member of the Senate and President of Badia University, Prof. Khaled Hamdy, President of Ahram Canadian University, Prof. Amr El-Atreby, Vice President of Badr University, Dr. Ayman Farid, Assistant Minister of Higher Education for Strategic Planning, Training and Rehabilitation for the Labor Market, along with a group of chairmen of boards of directors and editors-in-chief of Egyptian newspapers, a number of media professionals, deans and vice deans of faculties, directors of hospitals and university centers, the Secretary-General of the University, the Head of the Central Administration of the University President’s Sector, assistant secretaries, general managers and administrators.

         
   
         

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen emphasized that the annual iftar is not just a Ramadan event, but rather a deeply rooted tradition that the university is keen to maintain. He noted that this event represents a unique platform for university community members to meet, with the participation of a select group of public figures. This contributes to strengthening communication and cooperation with various community institutions and creates a supportive environment for the university's journey towards excellence and creativity.
