Professor Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zein El-Abidin, President of Ain Shams University, and Professor Dr. Ahmed Sameh Farid, President of New Giza University, signed a cooperation agreement between the two universities. The agreement includes cooperation to support higher education and disseminate knowledge, develop curricula, graduate programs, and scientific research, exchange expertise, information, documentation sources, and scientific publications, as well as student and faculty exchanges. It also includes basic and ongoing training for doctors, dentists, and pharmacists.

The agreement also includes training students and faculty staff and developing their capacities to keep pace with scientific development and progress. It also includes organizing joint conferences, seminars, and training courses, exchanging technical expertise, and preparing workshops for students.

The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Sherweit El-Ahmady, Director of the International Students Department.
