The Egyptian French Department of the Faculty of Law participated in the Egyptian French Conference on Scientific and Academic Cooperation

On the sidelines of French President Emmanuel Macron's visit to Egypt, the French Embassy in Egypt organized the first edition of the Egyptian French Conference on Scientific and University Cooperation on Monday, April 7, to strengthen partnerships between Egyptian and French universities and support innovation in a wide range of fields. The conference was attended by higher education officials from Egypt and France, including Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Mr. Philippe Baptiste, French Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University; Mr. Eric Chevallier, French Ambassador to Egypt; and several presidents of Egyptian and French universities, Egyptian and French students, French citizens in Egypt, and several French companies.

         
   
         

During this important event, the Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research of both countries highlighted the importance of university cooperation between Egypt and France, which has led to significant results in research and innovation. They also emphasized that the shared history between the two countries continues to advance in the fields of law and cultural heritage, and that the two countries renew their commitment to providing quality education and scientific research to promote joint development.

In this context, Professor Dr. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, expressed his pride in the participation of the Egyptian French Department at the Faculty of Law in this important conference. He extended his thanks to Professor Dr. Nora Issa, Director of the Department, and all faculty members, administrators, and students for their effective contribution and distinguished presence at the Egyptian French Conference on Scientific and Academic Cooperation. He emphasized that their participation reflects the faculty’s commitment to strengthening international cooperation and exchanging expertise with French academic institutions, and underscores the pioneering role played by the Department in building bridges of scientific and cultural communication between the two friendly countries.
