Under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, the Center for Papyrological Studies and Epigraphy at the Faculty of Archaeology signed a cooperation protocol with Mentor Group Consulting. The protocol was signed by Prof. Hossam Tantawy, Dean of the Faculty and Chairman of the Center's Board of Directors, and Mr. Ahmed Ashraf Adel, Vice Chairman of Mentor Consulting. The signing was attended by Dr. Basem Mohamed, Acting Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Vice President of the Center for Papyrological Studies and Epigraphy, and Dr. Iman Nabil, Director of the Center.

The protocol comes within the framework of Ain Shams University's commitment to strengthening cooperation between the university and national, regional, and international entities in various fields of scientific research, education, and community service, to achieve the goals of sustainable development and Egypt's Vision 2030.
The scope of cooperation will include activities related to restoration plans in various specialties for buildings and archaeological sites. This includes documenting and recording excavation and exploration work at archaeological sites and mud buildings, restoring documents and books within the center's restoration activities, and undertaking all documentation, examination, and preservation work related to books, old papers, oil paintings, and textiles. Additionally, the company will provide training programs for students at its work sites and appoint outstanding students to the company. The company will also serve as a supportive partner to the college in academic activities such as seminars and scientific conferences.
