On Saturday, April 12, the Chinese language placement exams (HSK and HSKK) for various levels were launched at the Confucius Institute at Ain Shams University. The exams were held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, and under the supervision of Prof. Nasser Abdel Aal, Director of the Confucius Institute.

The exams began at 8:00 AM in the electronic examination halls at the Faculty of Al-Alsun. A total of 93 students took the exams throughout the day, participating in written tests for the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth levels, as well as oral tests for the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.

It is worth noting that the Confucius Institute at Ain Shams University holds the HSK and HSKK exams three times a year and organizes Chinese language courses for students of all ages during the spring, fall, and summer semesters. These courses are taught by a distinguished group of Chinese teachers. At the end of the academic year, outstanding students are nominated for scholarships at Chinese universities affiliated with the Chinese Ministry of Education to study for a semester or an academic year, as well as scholarships to obtain a master's degree in international Chinese language education.
