In a significant step toward enhancing Ain Shams University's role in community service and development, the establishment of the University Services Association at Ain Shams University was announced. Operating as a civil society entity in accordance with Law No. 149 of 2019, the association aims to effectively contribute to achieving sustainable development across the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The association's work, which is governed by a nine-member board of directors headed by Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, includes diverse areas of work, including environmental protection, economic development, organization and administration, human rights, consumer protection, cultural and scientific services, social assistance, family care, child and maternal care, and local community development.

The association seeks to achieve its goals through a wide range of activities, most notably providing technical, engineering, and agricultural consultations, and harnessing the university's capabilities in the fields of agriculture, industry, education, and health to serve the community. The association also pays special attention to providing equal opportunities for people with special needs, offering programs and projects to develop administrative skills and spread awareness of various sciences.

In the environmental field, the association plans to establish projects and exhibitions for environmentally friendly industrial and agricultural products. It also aims to provide job opportunities for graduates through projects in support services and security, and to provide trained and skilled workers to serve the university's various sectors.

The association plays an important role in raising civil society awareness of consumer rights and marketing Ain Shams University's agricultural, livestock, and other products. It also provides technical assistance and guidance in the areas of small projects, family care, and psychological counseling, and cooperates with other civil society organizations to achieve common goals.

The establishment of the University Services Association at Ain Shams University represents a pioneering and promising step toward activating the university's pivotal role in serving Egyptian society and promoting its comprehensive and sustainable development.
