Finalization of Ain Shams University's development convoy to Beni Suef Governorate

Counsellor Hani Abdel-Gaber, Governor of Beni Suef held an extensive preparatory meeting with the delegation of Ain Shams University under the chairmanship of Mr. Samir Abdel Nasser, Secretary General of the University, to discuss the special arrangements for the launch of the Ain Shams University comprehensive development of the province of Beni Suef on 28th  of November.

The various aspects of the convoy were discussed in relation to medical and pharmaceutical services, literacy, school awareness campaigns, agricultural awareness campaigns, workshops on poultry raising for homemakers, food processing, women's economic empowerment, craft industries and small enterprises.

Hani said that cooperation with a prestigious government university such as Ain Shams University is an addition and a qualitative leap in the forms of cooperation of different institutions of society to serve the citizen and push the wheel of sustainable development throughout the republic as a whole.

Mr. Samir Abdel Nasser added that Ain Shams University will launch its comprehensive development convoy to serve the people of the village of Seds in the center of Baba and the village of Nazlet Hanna in the center of Al-Fashn through various services that are provided free of charge for three consecutive days from 28 to 30 November.

He pointed out that the university has formed partnerships with a number of Rotary clubs, pharmaceutical companies and a number of community institutions, in order to maximize the benefit, achieve the highest degree of integration for the benefit of the simple Egyptian citizen, and serve the neediest villages.

He stressed that the University of Ain Shams headed and sponsored by Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat and supervision of Prof. Dr. Nazmi Abdel Hamid, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, pays particular attention to serving the surrounding community in the university in application of the philosophy of universities without walls.

The meeting included a presentation of the review of the convoys of Ain Shams University for comprehensive development, which had been launched in a number of governorates, including Ismailia, Damietta and Fayoum.
