The Faculty of Business discusses ways to support international cooperation and partnerships with France

Within the framework of the Faculty of Business's efforts to consolidate and develop international relations and partnerships with international universities and institutions, the Dean of the Faculty of Business received the official of international relations at the University of Poitiers in France in the presence of the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, the Academic Coordinator of the Department and the French Coordinator and Deputy Coordinator.

The visit will take place in order to discuss ways to support and develop the partnership agreement between the University of Ain Shams represented in the Faculty of Commerce and the University of Poitiers, France, especially at the level of postgraduate degree. The partnership, which began in 2000 and has lasted for more than 18 years, is implemented by the department of French language study at the Faculty.

Prof. Dr. Hayam Wahba, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research affirmed that ways of activating the Francophone Agency agreement signed with Ain Shams University were discussed for 2019/2020 on granting the Institute of Corporate Management at the University of Poitiers to the students of the French Department through the Faculty of Commerce, Master of Marketing and Branding.

She also stressed that the two sides have agreed to create a joint master's degree between Ain Shams University and Poitaya University to come into effect next academic year 2020/2021. At the end of the meeting, the shield of the Faculty of Commerce was presented to the representatives of the University of Poitiers in appreciation of their role in supporting the partnership relationship which lasted for nearly twenty years.
