قامت كلية الطب بجامعة عين شمس بجهود دولية ملحوظة خلال العام الأكاديمي 2023/2024، يتلخصون فيما يلي:

> عمل كتيب للوافدين، وتم إرسالها للسفارات و الملحقيات الثقافية ثم تحديثها للعام الجامعي 2023-2024.

> كما قامت الكلية باستقبال وفود مختلفة لتعزيز الشراكة و تشجيع التحاق الطلاب الوافدين بالكلية بالإضافة إلى استقبال الملحقين الثقافيين لبعض الدول مثل سوريا و فلسطين و أفغانستان في حفل تخرج الوافدين.

> يتواصل المكتب ع الطلاب الوافدين عن طريق الايميل بالإضافة إلى العديد من وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي

> قام المكتب بتنظيم حفل استقبال ومحاضرات تعريفية في بداية العام الدراسي للطلبة العرب وغير العرب لعرض نظام الدراسة بالكلية، وللتعرف على أنشطة مكتب الوافدين. و ذلك ضمن الأسبوع التعريفى للطلاب في بداية العام الدراسي لاستقبال الطلاب المستجدين Orientation day.

> كما تم عمل لقاء للطلبة الباقيين للإعادة لمناقشة الأسباب التي أدت الي رسوبهم و معرفة نقاط الضعف لديهم و محاولة إيجاد حلول لهم و مساعدتهم في الدراسة بشكل أفضل يوم 12 اكتوبر لعام 2024.

> في بداية الفصل الدراسي الاول 2024 تم إرسال استمارة تعارف للطلبة الوافدين لجمع طرق التواصل المختلفة مع الطلبة، ومعرفة الهوايات المفضلة للمساعدة في تنظيم أنشطة اجتماعية وثقافية مناسبة لرغباتهم، ولمعرفة الطلاب الذين يعانون من أمراض مزمنة طبية ونفسية وتقديم الدعم لهم.

> يقدم المكتب جلسات دعم نفسي للطلاب الراغبين علي مدار الاسبوع عن طريق أساتذة الطب النفسي في الكلية وذلك لحل المشكلات النفسية الناجمة عن اختلاف الثقافة والصدمة الحضارية التي يتعرض لها الطلاب.

> قام المكتب بعمل استمارة للطلاب الوافدين لإرسال تساؤلاتهم الاكاديمية و الغير اكاديمية ثم نظم لقاء يوم الأثنين الموافق 19 فبراير في مدرج البنهاوي مع الطلاب الوافدين للرد علي تساولاتهم و مناقشتهم بها و بناء عليه تم عمل قناة “Student’s voice” علي منصة “Moodle” حتي يتمكن الطلبة الوافدين من ارسال استفساراتهم مباشرة الي وكيلة الكلية لشئون الطلبة.

> كما تنشر الصفحة الرسمية للمكتب نصائح أكاديمية باستمرار، مع فيديوهات تشجيعية للطلاب على المذاكرة، بالإضافة إلى المعلومات والإعلانات عن التقديم للكلية و التسجيل في المدينة الجامعية على سبيل المثال.

> كما نفذت الكلية برنامج الإرشاد والدعم في العام الدراسي 2023-2024 مع طلاب الفرقة الأولى حيث يحتاج الطالب الوافد فى الفرقة الاولى دعماً أكبر لوجوده فى مجتمع جديد، و قد تم توزيع الطلاب بواقع 15 طالباً على كل مرشد سواء من المعيدين أو الطلاب في الفرق الأكبر ، وقد احتوى على جلسات لتدريب الطلاب على طرق التعليم والتذكر وإدارة الوقت ومبادئ اللغتين العربية والانجليزية. > يتعاون مكتب الطلاب الوافدين مع اطباء الامتياز من الوافدين لعمل ندوات للتوعية بنظام الدراسة و كيفية الاستعداد لها.

> ساعد المكتب في رفع كفاءة أعمال شئون الطلاب عن طريق تصميم بعض الوثائق و تنظيم الملفات و ترجمة بعض الإعلانات للغة الإنجليزية و متابعة UMS و تيسير الخدمات الطلابية للوافدين حيث قام المكتب بإضافة بعض الخدمات الاونلاين للطلاب مثل طلب إذن الدفع والإفادات لتوفير الوقت للطلاب و الموظفين.

> و يتعاون مع الشئون القانونية في الكلية عن طريق مساعدتهم في الترجمة و التواصل مع الطلاب الوافدين غير الناطقين بالعربية.

> أقام المكتب حفل التخرج للطلاب الوافدين في فبراير 2024، حيث يعود هؤلاء الطلاب لبلادهم مباشرة بعد إعلان نتيجة السنة الدراسية النهائية.

> قام المكتب بالتعاون مع وحدة ضمان الجودة بعمل ندوة تعريفية بزيارة الجودة التي ستتم لإعتماد الكلية.

> نظم المكتب ندوة لمنصة AMBOSS الالكترونية للتعليم الطبي للطلبة الوافدين.

> عقد انتخابات بين الطلاب لاختيار ممثل لكل دفعة لسهولة التواصل مع الطلاب.
The Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University has made significant international efforts during the academic year 2023/2024, summarized as follows:
- > A handbook was prepared for international students, sent to embassies and cultural attachés, then updated for the academic year 2023-2024.
- > The faculty received various delegations to enhance partnerships and encourage the enrollment of international students, in addition to hosting cultural attachés from countries such as Syria, Palestine, and Afghanistan at the international students' graduation ceremony.
- > The office continues to communicate with international students via email, in addition to various social media channels.
- > The office organized reception events and orientation lectures at the beginning of the academic year for both Arab and non-Arab students to introduce the college's study system and familiarize them with the activities of the International Students Office, as part of the orientation week for new students.
- > A meeting was held with remaining students for reevaluation, discussing the reasons for their failure, identifying their weaknesses, and attempting to find solutions to help them study better on October 12, 2024.
- > At the beginning of the first semester of 2024, a profile form was sent to international students to collect different communication methods, identify their favorite hobbies to organize suitable social and cultural activities, and to know students suffering from chronic medical and psychological illnesses to provide support.
- > The office provides psychological support sessions for students throughout the week by psychiatric faculty members at the college to address psychological problems resulting from cultural differences and cultural shock experienced by students.
- > The office created a questionnaire for international students to send their academic and non-academic inquiries, then organized a meeting on Monday, February 19, at El Banaawi Auditorium with international students to respond to their inquiries and discuss them, based on which a "Student's Voice" channel was created on the Moodle platform so that international students can send their inquiries directly to the college's student affairs deputy.
- > The office constantly publishes academic tips on its official page, along with motivational videos encouraging students to study, in addition to providing information and announcements about applying to the college and registering at the university city, for example.
- > The college implemented the counseling and support program in the academic year 2023-2024 with first-year students, as they need more support due to their presence in a new community. The students were distributed with 15 students per counselor, whether teaching assistants or students in higher years, and it included sessions to train students on teaching and memorization methods, time management, and the principles of both Arabic and English languages. - > The International Students Office collaborates with foreign interns to conduct awareness seminars about the study system and how to prepare for it.
- > The office assisted in improving the efficiency of student affairs by designing some documents, organizing files, translating some advertisements into English, and following up on UMS, facilitating student services for international students by adding some online services such as request for payment permission and certificates to save time for students and employees.
- > It collaborates with the legal affairs department at the college by assisting them in translation and communicating with non-Arabic speaking international students.
- > The office held the graduation ceremony for international students in February 2024, where these students returned to their countries immediately after announcing the final academic year results.
- > The office, in collaboration with the quality assurance unit, organized an introductory seminar on the quality visit that will be conducted for the college's accreditation.
- > The office organized a seminar on the electronic AMBOSS platform for medical education for international students.
- > Elections were held among students to select a representative for each batch to facilitate communication with students.
