Dr. Marwa Hussein is a Fellow of Cell Biology, Molecular Biology and Tissue Culture at MASRI Research Center. She is the Deputy Director of MASRI Cell Culture Unit. She is training and Outreach Coordinator of the MASRI Bioinformatics Unit.

Dr. Marwa Hussein earned her PhD in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology and Tissue Culture, 2019 and she had also a Diploma of Biological technique, Ain Shams University (2004).

Marwa Hussein is an expert in Scientific Research in Cell Biology and Tissue Culture Sciences. She has experienced skills in tissue culture through attending many training activities and workshops. She is expert in Isolation of stem cells from Bone marrow blood, umbilical cord blood and adipose tissues and their differentiation into several types of cells according to growth factor. She works as trainer in practical and theoretical courses in molecular and tissue culture lab.

Dr. Marwa Hussein Dr. Marwa had attended several Bioinformatics workshop. She has gained a training certificate in Next Generation Sequencing and 16S rRNA Microbiome analysis (2021) from H3ABioNet and African Genomic Medicine Training Initiative (AGMT) (2022) also from H3ABioNet.
