This national program to preserve the Egyptian family entity comes within the framework of the President's assignments to the Ministry of Social Solidarity during the Sixth National Youth Conference held at Cairo University in July 2018 regarding the preparation and implementation of an integrated national program to qualify those about to get married and support them with the information and skills necessary to build a cohesive family that helps support the value and social construction of Egyptian society. The program constantly seeks to remain one of the most important national programs that aim to enhance the values of the Egyptian family and preserve its entity, and qualify future generations to build stable and happy families. The program goes beyond the scope of providing advice on married life, to aim to build a society that is more aware of the importance and value of the family, and capable of facing challenges. The Mawadda program is closely aligned with Egypt's Vision 2030 and the Egyptian government's program, as it contributes to achieving many of its ambitious goals in achieving sustainable development and improving the quality of life of citizens by focusing on building a strong and healthy Egyptian family. The program implements 15 different training initiatives across the country to target and suit different categories of youth. The program's training packages are based on three main axes; The axis of the social and psychological aspects of married life, the axis of the legal aspect of married life, in addition to the axis of reproductive and sexual health in married life. In addition to direct training, the program provides educational and entertaining content through the Mawadda digital platform for distance learning, which was launched by His Excellency the President of the Republic in December 2019 and benefited approximately 5.2 million Egyptian citizens. The program's vision: "Preserving the entity of the Egyptian family by supporting young men and women who are about to get married with the information and experiences necessary to form a family, and developing family support and guidance mechanisms.
