Director of the Center Participates in the New Cairo Primary Court Seminar "Comprehensive Legal Awareness"

Within the framework of the state's plan to advance the Egyptian citizen and in implementation of the directives of the President of the Republic to launch the "New Beginning to Build the Egyptian Person" initiative, Dr. Hatem Al-Abd, Director of the Middle East Research and Future Studies Center, attended today the "Comprehensive Legal Awareness" seminar at the headquarters of the New Cairo Primary Court in the Fifth Settlement.

The seminar was moderated by His Excellency Counselor Omar Salama, President of the Court, and Dr. Al-Abd participated in it, along with Counselor Mohamed Mohib, from the same court, and Dr. Rabab Al-Hakim, Professor and Head of the Public Law Department at the Faculty of Sharia and Law at Al-Azhar University, in the presence of Her Excellency Counselor Amani Al-Hawari, Vice President of the Court.

The attendees included a number of judges of the court, some administrators, a delegation from the Ministry of Endowments, and a large crowd of university students.

At the beginning of his speech, the Director of the Center praised the presidential initiative and its importance and the priority that the state gives to advancing the Egyptian person. The speech came about the importance of legal education for the Egyptian citizen and how legal culture is the culture of cultures and being Necessary to guarantee rights and freedoms. His Excellency also pointed out that the rule of law requires legal awareness and that this awareness is the responsibility of all, the state and civil society institutions.

Pointing out the center's efforts in this regard by creating a course on the ABCs of Politics and Law, which tours the university's colleges to spread legal culture among students.
