The center aims primarily to achieve the following objectives:
* Carrying out research and scientific consultations for official bodies and decision-makers, especially with regard to future studies of the most important activities and processes affecting the movement of society in the future, especially, the Middle East and its countries.
* Studying various fields such as water and natural resources, economic, social, political, historical, and legal affairs.
* Holding conferences, seminars, lectures, workshops, and training courses in the areas concerned by the Center.
* Strengthening cultural and scientific ties with universities and scientific bodies interested in this activity, whether inside or outside Egypt.
* Encouraging and publishing various research related to future studies and the Middle East and its countries.
* Over the past fifty years of the center's life, successive administrations have tried to implement these goals and constantly strive to achieve them.
