Unit Objectives:

1. Treatment and first aid for cases of respiratory failure and collapse.

2. A training center for the basics of intensive care for chest diseases for doctors, nursing staff, paramedics and students to spread such services throughout the Republic.

3. A center for collecting information, diagnosing and evaluating cases of respiratory failure and determining the best preventive and therapeutic methods for them in the local environment.

4. Conducting scientific and clinical research in cooperation with other therapeutic departments as well as various bodies and institutions.
