The Department of Communication and Media Sciences, Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, headed by Prof. Dr. Heba Shaheen, hosted a distinguished elite of specialists in the field of public relations and advertising, to arbitrate the graduation projects of the fourth year students of the class of 2021, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mortada, Dean of the Faculty.
The jury of projects in the field of public relations and advertising included a number of the most prominent specialists in the field, among them: Mr. Adel Salama, an advertising consultant and content writing expert, and Ms. Manar Kadri Marketing Consultant, Mr. Gamal El-Feki, expert and lecturer of digital marketing, Prof. Dr. Salwa Suleiman, Head of the Public Relations and Advertising Department at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Al-Ahram Canadian University, in the presence of Dr. Mai Hamza, teacher at the department, Dr. Shaima Ezz El-Din, assistant professor in the department, Dr. Nada Mounir, teacher in the department and supervisor of the production of the Division of Public Relations and Advertising, and in the presence of Mr. Amr Bahloul teaching assistant department, Ms. Aya Mamdouh teaching assistant, Ms. Hader Mahdi teaching assistant department supervisors on public relations and advertising projects, Ms. Aya Munir teaching assistant department, and Ms. Hanan Al-Leithi, assistant teacher in the department.
The graduation projects of the Public Relations and Advertising Division for the year 2021 included 5 media campaigns: (Al-Sarh, the second card, play it right, 24 carats, reasonable), and 5 advertising campaigns (March, Tafsala, Market, Ecube, HiSense).
Prof. Dr. Heba Shaheen, confirmed that distinguished and diversified the ideas of students' graduation projects in the field of public relations and advertising, especially that a number of campaigns touch on the human side, noting that the Department of Communication and Media Sciences at Ain Shams University confirms its merit every year with the competence of its students and graduates through their participation in media forums and their access to the first centers in media production of all kinds.
Prof. Manar Kadri, Marketing Consultant, expressed her happiness with the quality and diversity of the campaigns, stressing the merit of the students of the Media Department who overcame many difficulties in implementing the ideas of graduation projects, noting that they implemented online workshops for the winning centers for creativity, and the centers that did not win because they also made a great effort in producing their campaigns.
Mr. Adel Salama, the advertising consultant and content writing expert, praised the diversity of ideas and methods of addressing them that reach the level of professionals, which confirms the efficiency of the department's students that qualifies them to enhance the position of Ain Shams University media graduates in the media labor market.
Prof. Gamal El-Feki, an expert and lecturer in digital marketing, excelled at the Media Department at Ain Shams University, and presented different and distinct ideas and talents that reach the level of professionals.
Prof. Dr. Salwa Suleiman, Head of the Public Relations and Advertising Department at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Al-Ahram Canadian University, explained that the production presented by the students is one of the most distinguished projects over recent years. She saluted and appreciated their efforts and apparent enthusiasm in producing projects.
In conclusion, the jury announced the winning projects in the various centers: the “Al-Sarh” campaign topped the list of media campaigns with the Creativity Award, the “Second Card” campaign won first place, and the “Play it Right” campaign came in second place, and the “March” campaign topped the list of campaigns The advertising award was given the creativity award, and “Tasfsela” campaign took first place, and the “Market” campaign came in second place.
