Prof. Dr. Hussein Abu Laila Award

An award whose establishment was approved by a decision of the Ain Shams University Council on December 26, 1994. It is awarded to the best research in the field of physics submitted by faculty members from the university’s faculties (Sciences – Girls – Education – Computer and Information Sciences).

Award conditions:

The award is given to the best single research in the field of physics.

The researcher applying for the award may be with others, provided that the specialization is unique among the list of authors.

The academic rank of the faculty member when applying for the award shall be "Lecturer" in the departments of physics in the faculties of the aforementioned university.

Procedures for applying for the university awards for individuals

(Prof. Hussein Abu Laila Award) for faculty staff.

1- Submit a paper and electronic copy of the published scientific research.

2- Submit an approved list of the names of the researchers mentioned in the submitted research, their specializations, and the role of each of them in the research.

3- The decision of the department and college council to approve the nomination.

4- A recent status statement for the candidate approved by the university.

5- Copies of the candidate's national ID card.

6- Contact information for the candidate.

Note that the deadline for receiving nominations is February 15, 2025

Submission is made to the Awards Office - General Administration of Scientific Research - in the Administration Building - behind Saffron Palace.
