Prof. Ashraf Abdel Aaty Mohamed
Biography
Dr. Ashraf A. Mohamed is a professor of analytical chemistry, Faculty of Science, ASU. He was the director of the studies and consultation center at Ain Shams University from 2014 to 2016, and the vice-dean of community service and environmental affairs of the Faculty of Science, ASU, from 2016 to 2019. Due to his fruitful contributions to the institution, ASU granted him the university award of excellence (in advanced technological sciences) in 2022/6. His current research interests include analytical chemistry, molecularly imprinted polymers, layered double hydroxides, and nanomaterials’ applications in water treatment and analysis, as well as digital imaging-based sensors. He has authored more than 71 Scopus-indexed papers, including 15 review articles in highly reputable international journals and five book chapters in Elsevier, RSC, and Springer-Nature.
