Neveen Al Saeed is a Lecturer in Linguistics at the Department of English Language and Literature, Ain Shams University in Egypt. Her doctoral thesis, awarded by University of Leeds, focused on interrogations of suspects in the Egyptian Judicial system. Her research interests are focused on language and the law/Forensic Linguistics with a special interest in the language of interrogations and prosecutors' discourse. Her research is informed by pragmatics, discourse analysis and corpus linguistics.
