Biography

Hanan Elhaes:1992 graduated from the Physics Department, Faculty of Women for Arts,Science, and Education, Ein Shams University, Egypt. Then worked as demonstrator at thesame department. Got M.Sc.in Solid State Physics from the same department 1998. At 2004 obtained a Ph.D. from RWTH-Aachen University, Germany. Head of Physics Department, Faculty of Science, Jazan University, Jazan, Saudi Arabia 2008–2011.Works as Professor at Physics Department, Faculty of Women for Arts, Science, and Education, Ein Shams University since 2015.Head of Physics Department, Faculty of Women for Arts, Science, and Education, (2016-2019). Director of E-Learning unit, Faculty of Women for Arts, Science, and Education, since 6/2020 till 9/2021. Member in the national committee of Women in Science at ASRT, Egypt (2018-2021). Member in international Society of Muslim Women in Science, USA. Member in the national committee of Crystallography at ASRT, Egypt (2018-2021). Collaborated with many national and international researchers, participate in many research projects. Research interests: Nano materials and biopolymers preparation and characterization, Electronic properties of fullerene-based systems as wellas other systems using molecular modeling techniques. Transport properties in superconducting materials. Thin film preparation, electricaland optical properties of thin films. PI of national and international research projects funded from STDF and ASRT, Co–PI and member in other projects. Participate in organizing a number of conferences, workshops and three winter schools. Scopus total citation 1623; Scopus H-index 25. Total number of documents 148
