Under the auspices of Ain Shams University and the sponsorship of Professor Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abidin, President of Ain Shams University, and Professor Dr. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Environmental and Community Service Affairs, the Zafaran Museum hosted a student delegation from Hiroshima University, Japan, led by Atsuko Okumura, Hiroshima University’s Coordinator at the Cairo Office. The delegation visited the university as part of their academic tour.
The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Walaa Eldin Badawi, Museum Director, Ms. Abir Omar, and Mr. Hossam Mohamed, Museum Curators, who provided explanations of the museum’s collections. The visitors praised the artifacts on display and the museum’s exhibition scenario, which highlights both ancient and modern Egyptian history. The students also participated in a virtual experience using virtual reality glasses. During their tour, they captured wonderful commemorative photos with Prof. Mamdouh Eldamaty, Professor of Egyptology and renowned scholar.
After the visit, the students enjoyed a free tour of all the museum's halls and took additional memorable photographs.
