Today, the Zafaran Museum had the honor of welcoming an official delegation from the committee of the Best Environmentally Friendly University Competition during their official visit to Ain Shams University. The delegation was accompanied by Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, along with committee members: Prof. Shahira Samir, Professor Dr. Mohamed Ragaa, Professor Dr. Sherwet, Professor Dr. Mohamed Said, Dr. Ahmed El-Banna, Dr. Weam Mahmoud, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi.
The delegation was received by Dr. Walaa Eldin Badawi, Museum Director, and Mr. Hossam Mohamed, Museum Curator, who guided them through the museum’s exhibits. The visitors were impressed by the museum's outstanding archaeological and historical artifacts, which showcase Egypt's history, both ancient and modern. They were particularly fascinated by the Digital Heritage Hall, where modern digital applications, such as the virtual reality headset, bring the artifacts to life in an engaging way.
The delegation also toured the other exhibition halls and praised the tremendous effort and dedication that went into making the museum such an exceptional showcase, especially as it is housed within the historic Zafaran Palace at Ain Shams University.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation took memorable group photos with the museum’s team and expressed their appreciation for the museum's outstanding presentation and significance.
