In cooperation with the Japanese Okayama University… a scientific symposium on scientific thinking and how to link it to society and the goals

Within the framework of a series of scientific seminars were held by the Faculty of Pharmacy during the academic year 2022/2023, which aim to enrich the knowledge experiences of faculty staff and students and support international academic cooperation between the Faculty of Pharmacy, at Ain Shams University and the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, at Okayama University, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Amani Osama Kamel, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Prof. Maha Nasr, Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutics and Industrial Pharmacy and Director of the Department of International Relations and Academic Cooperation at the Faculty of Pharmacy, presented an online symposium on scientific thinking and how it is linked to society and the goals of sustainable development, which was presented by Prof. Mitsunobu Kano, Dean of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, at Okayama University, Japan, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Member of the Science Council of Japan.

         
   
         

The symposium included a comparison between the application of scientific thinking in Japan and Western countries and the steps of systematic scientific thinking, and how to link it to society with the goals of sustainable development, in the presence of a number of faculty staff, students and graduates of the faculty.
